Here's a little about me:
I graduated from Trenton State College with a BS degree in Elementary Education and have a Masters Degree in The Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. I enrolled in Fairleigh Dickinson University's College of Dyslexia, and I obtained my certification as a Dyslexia Specialist in May of 2017!
I love to draw, and doodle. I have been teaching for over 30 years, married for just about as long and I'm the mother of three beautiful sons and a dog, named Hannah. We also have 4 goats, 3 pigs, and a pond full of fish. My favorite color is blue. (This will actually be extra credit on a quiz, so I hope you are keeping track !)
Please know that I thoroughly enjoy teaching and always ask for, and get, the best and the brightest students.
We'll have a wonderful year together if we follow the rules of the class, work together and keep learning our first priority.
The following will supply you with information concerning class:
RULES OF CONDUCT
1. Respect classmates, materials, rules and the entire classroom learning experience.
2. Bring homework to class every single day. (Please do not bring gum.)
3. Be in your proper spot, and ready to learn, at all times.
4. Follow the directions carefully in all three routines.
5. Always be thorough, neat, and accurate with anything you turn in to be graded.
6. Leave the room clean and neat for the next class when you depart.
HOMEWORK & GRADES
Students should expect to complete homework daily in order to keep up their grades . Due dates will be fair and strictly enforced. I will accept late work within reason, but please know that lateness will affect the project's grade. Excused absences will allow for extended deadlines. Current grades will be posted regularly on Genesis for viewing. Please monitor these postings and if you have concerns about anything, e-mail me ([email protected]) write me a note or call me at the school.
